I am a retired risk management expert with  over 30 years combined experience in the fields of risk management, internal control, and forensic accounting.

Note: forensic accounting is a specialty accounting service used during legal cases such as personal injury calculations, business valuations, divorces, dispute resolution 

I earned Bachelors of Science degrees in biology and accounting as well as a Masters of Science degree in accounting. My masters degree was self-directed with input from the college dean. My masters program included a fraud-related research project, Criminal Law at Cal Western School of Law (San Diego) and a course which included a legal research component.

My work experience and education trained me to perform detailed research; follow facts wherever they lead; and, amend theories as additional facts emerge.

Politically, I'm an Independent. I lean left of center on cultural issues and right of center on financial issues. I have lived in both "blue" and "red" states. I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans.
