I don't quite understand why progressive democrats focus their venom on President Joe Biden. I understand and sympathize with progressives desire to obtain a ceasefire in Gaza to get needed aid to the Palestinians; free the hostages; and cease the carnage. However, the invective and anger is incorrectly focused. Pressuring both Israel and Hamas is the only way to attain a cease fire. Destroying Hamas is the only way to end the war.

While I am disturbed that the Arizona State Supreme Court reinstated a 160-year-old abortion ban, I am much more apprehensive that several other partisan Republican State Supreme Courts (or Legislatures) will resurrect similar, antiquated laws?

On May 30, 2024, Mr. Donald J. Trump was unanimously found guilty of 34 of 34 counts by 12 Manhattan, NY residents (jury of his peers) beyond a reasonable doubt. Each of the 34 counts were for falsifying business records (to hide the "catch and kill" scheme) to protect Mr. Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. The jury deliberated just over 9 hours.
