It is finally time to call B.S. on the "Lost Cause". For all those people in the deep south who cling to the "Southern Cause" or "State's Rights", it's time to stop clinging to the ideas that "Blacks have always been inferior" and the "South will Rise Again". 

Southern states left the Union and stated the Civil War over the institution of slavery. It's that simple. This message was made clear in writing. Just read the Declaration of Secession from the 5 primary slave-holding states.
